Spicy, fragrant, tangy, you name it, this Thai fried rice dish will have everyone begging for more.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok over medium-high heat.
Add garlic red chillies and sauté for 10-15 seconds once the oil is hot.
Add the onions and fry them for 1-2 minutes. Mix the dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce and sugar in a bowl until sugar dissolves.
Add the sauce to the wok together with the cooked rice and mix well together.
Add the spring onion, basil leaves, salt and pepper to taste and toss everything together.
Serve hot.
